Rebuilding Creative Work from the Inside Out
Gathering Bones is a 1:1 mentorship for artists and entrepreneurs in seasons of rebuilding, refining, or returning to their work.
Creative growth is rarely linear. We revisit old ideas, question previous decisions, outgrow certain versions of ourselves, and return to familiar places with more awareness than before. What once felt unclear begins to make sense. What once felt scattered begins to integrate.
This mentorship exists for those moments- when something is shifting, when the way you’ve been working no longer fits, and when you’re ready to rebuild your creative life with more intention and clarity.
This is not traditional business coaching.
It is a steady, reflective container where we examine your creative identity, your relationship to your work, and the structures that support both. The goal isn’t to reinvent yourself completely, it’s to evolve without abandoning the parts of you that matter.
BioRachael Ellis is an artist, ceremonialist, salon owner, and mentor working at the intersection of creativity, embodiment, and sustainable leadership.
Originally from East Texas and now based in Salt Lake City, Rachael is the founder of Satellite and has worked internationally as a hairdresser, styling for designers at Paris and New York Fashion Week while maintaining a multi-city clientele across Salt Lake City, Los Angeles, Brooklyn, and Fort Worth.
Her background spans far beyond beauty. Before entering the hair industry in 2013, Rachael studied therapy and worked closely with individuals navigating recovery — from outpatient teens to incarcerated men — even founding a government-funded art program within the prison system. This chapter deeply shaped her understanding of core belief systems, trauma-informed awareness, and the power of creative expression in healing.
An artist since childhood, Rachael views everything as art — business, ritual, conversation, and daily life. Though her canvas has evolved, her artistic integrity has remained central to her work.
Today, she is a ceremonialist, somatic practitioner, and Reiki practitioner, integrating nervous system awareness, intuitive reflection, and embodied inquiry into both her ceremonial offerings and her mentorship work.
Through Gathering Bones, she brings together her capacity for witnessing, her understanding of belief systems, and her lived experience as a creative entrepreneur — guiding women back to their own internal authority while building businesses that honor both depth and sustainability.
